About the Role
The Dining Area Attendant is responsible for keeping the dining areas clean including removing trash, cleaning breakfast area and kitchen counters, cabinets and floors.
Position Responsibilities
• Preparing and stocking coffee/beverage station
• Setting up serving dishes/trays, utensils, cups and other paper products
• Setting out/arranging cold food, such as breakfast, lunch and dinner items
• Clearing and cleaning tables as they are vacated
• Restocking items consistently throughout entire shift
Essential Functions
• Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise and hectic environments.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Must be able to stand, sit, bend and twist for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the casino/hotel areas
• Must be able to lift/pull up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends and flexible shift hours
Requirements
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (Read, Write, Speak & Understand).
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Prior work experience in the food service industry
