As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a highly visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a retail grocery location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the store, parking areas, loading docks, perimeter, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and support loss prevention efforts in accordance with site procedures and applicable laws.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site management, Allied Universal leadership, and law enforcement personnel when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
