Key Responsibilities of an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA):

• Assist in conducting client assessments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based techniques
• Support clients in achieving their functional goals through therapeutic activities
• Collaborate closely with Occupational Therapists, clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Provide education and guidance to clients and caregivers
• Document services accurately and in a timely manner, following regulatory and company standards
• Uphold professional and ethical practice requirements

Requirements for an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA):

• Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current Massachusetts Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Commitment to client-centered, evidence-based care
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel (if applicable)
