QA Technician (2nd Shift)

As a QA Technician supporting our Fort Worth North Manufacturing Facility, you will be responsible for completing particulate inspections, reviewing Master Batch Records (MBRs), conducting line audits, and product sampling to ensure products are manufactured in compliance with corporate, regulatory, and industry standards at Fort Worth, TX.
In this role, a typical day will include:
Adhering closely to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Current Good Documentation Practices (cGDP), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and report all discrepancies immediately
Supporting facility documentation revision by reviewing documents and processing change requests (review documents, process change requests, temporary document changes, laboratory information system, document obsoletions)
Ensuring MBR reviews are completed promptly based on scheduled due dates
Performing activities that ensure required quality and safety standards are being met for our products
Reviewing the MBRs to ensure all manufacturing batch procedures are followed and all data is recorded per procedures
Logging MBRs into a computer tracking system and file pending review
Coordinating and supporting other departments to ensure the smooth execution of work
Being able to communicate efficiently with production, maintenance, warehouse, and other functions as necessary
Performing housekeeping duties such as keeping work areas clean and free of hazards or dangerous conditions
Helping to support the training needs of team members and work cohesively with team
Ensuring supplies and equipment are available to meet schedules and work is carried out as defined by the schedule
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
Work hours: 2nd Shift: (Monday – Friday: 2:30 PM CST – 11:00 PM CST, some overtime required)
