At CESO, a Lead Electrical Engineer is responsible for performing a wide variety of technical assignments utilizing the application of standard engineering design techniques for small to large projects. You will have primary responsibilities that include:

Primary Responsibilities
- Lead projects / programs from concept through completion
- Performs calculations, designs advanced building systems, and prepares design documents in coordination with project teams and multiple disciplines
- Review shop drawings and equipment submittals for conformance to plan documents and project specifications
- Prepare and modify studies, plans, reports, specifications, and designs for projects
- Apply local, state, and federal regulations
- Ensures the production of drawings, specifications, calculations, and other analysis meet scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements
- Communicate design requirements with architects, contractors, and equipment manufacturers to determine scope and feasibility
- Visits project sites to verify existing conditions and/or observe construction progress
- Attend internal and external meetings
- Responsible for all junior Engineers under direct supervision and take ownership of the success and ongoing growth of team members
- Other project duties as assigned
Position Requirements
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in engineering from ABET accredited college and 10+ years of relevant experience
- Professional Engineering (PE) License is required
- Experience managing an electrical engineering team
- Advanced knowledge and proficiency in engineering design, AEC industry, codes and standards
- Experience creating and maintaining engineering standards and tools
- Advanced knowledge in the use of AutoCAD, BlueBeam, Revu, Microsoft Office Suite and other common software
