The primary focus of this position is to assist with providing excellence in benefits and
systems administration, EEO and Affirmative Action planning, data integrity and inputs, and
special projects throughout the company.
Successful candidates must have a broad HR background and a strong background in
benefits administration, data integrity and experience with employee relations.
Applicants selected must be willing and able to obtain a Security Clearance; therefore, U.S.
Citizenship is required.
Responsibilities
- Manage employee benefit communications and provide assistance with all benefits, including 401k. May include coordination with benefits broker and carrier to resolve enrollment or claims issues and assisting with Annual Open Enrollment activities.
- Participate in organizational strategic planning and provide leadership for Compensation, Benefits and policy development.
- Assist with the organization's performance management process by coaching, educating, and providing feedback to employees and managers.
- Responsible for the design, implementation, administration, maintenance, communication and ongoing evaluation of compensation and benefits programs including base salary, incentive plans, health and wellness benefits (medical, dental,vision, flexible spending, FMLA), life/disability insurance and retirement plans.
- Ensure strong relationship management with benefits brokers, vendors and other key service providers. Take the lead or effectively delegate projects and market evaluations aimed at consistently enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of benefits operations and administration tasks.
- Manage employee data in HRIS and Payroll systems while ensuring data integrity and maintenance. Runs reports routinely or as necessary to submit to HR Director and managers.
- Assist with implementation or upgrading of new HR system or modules as needed (i.e. performance management, recruiting, on-boarding, LMS).
- Conduct on-boarding and exit activities for employees and track feedback for future action.
- Implement process improvements to maximize efficiency while continuing company culture of one-on-one, personalized service to managers and employees.
- Communicate policies to all staff and provide counsel/interpretation as needed to employees and managers.
- Advise and coach managers on employee relations issues, including performance and disciplinary actions; coach/mentor new managers and work with HR Director on legally complex issues.
- Help communicate and promote HR programs within the organization.
- Track employe training programs, including registration, maintaining records, and helping to implement specialized programs as needed.
- Maintain Affirmative Action /EEO-1/VETS100 reporting and manage compliance with other organizational programs. Stay up-to-date and comply with changes in HR legislation.
- Performs other assignments as directed.
Qualifications
Candidate Qualifications and Requirements:• Minimum 8 years' human resources management experience in the high-tech industry. • Strong experience in benefits management.• Excellent organization, writing, and strong verbal communication skills.• Experience with Bamboo, Paychex, Costpoint, and iCIMS
