Responsibilities
Coordinate and execute all aspects of course-related copying and printing including completion of print jobs, supplies ordering, copier troubleshooting, and communication with vendor to elicit repair and maintenance.
Act as department records manager which includes maintaining a database of documentation per UT guidelines, disposal of records according to retention policies, and communication of retention policies and timelines to department faculty and staff. Request Shred Pick-up.
Assist Chemistry Student Services Office with clerical tasks including managing the front desk, answering phones, filing, data entry, etc. Aid in scheduling student exams in the testing center and monitoring exams. Assist in making appointments for academic advisors and student check-in for appointments.
Hire and manage schedule of student proctors needed for Chemistry.
Other related functions as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High school graduation or GED and three years of experience with clerical functions.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and one year of experience with clerical functions. Experience working in a copy center or printing facility; experience working in an institution of higher education; demonstrated ability to interact professionally with diverse populations; familiarity with MS Office Suite, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel. Familiarity with UT administrative procedures and applications.
Salary Range
$42,000+ depending on qualifications
