The Nurse Technician performs basic patient care by assisting in the treatment and care of patients under the direction of a licensed nurse.

Please note the following important details regarding this position: 

• This posting includes multiple openings for a Nurse Technician – Admin Staffing 
• Available Shifts: 
  • Per Diem, On Call, Variable 
• This is an onsite position, requiring daily attendance at the designated location. 
• Candidates must reside within commutable distance of the following office location: 

  • Texas: Lubbock 

• Flexibility to work a day, evening or night shift as scheduled 
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled, based on operational and departmental requirements. 

• Positions specified as “on call/per diem” refer to employment consisting of shifts scheduled on an “as needed basis” to fill in for staff vacancies 

   

Required Qualifications:

• A nursing student enrolled in a professional school of nursing (RN) program with successful course completion of Medical/Surgical Nursing and Fundamentals of Nursing & Skills, and maintains enrollment - OR -  A graduate of a professional school of nursing (RN) who has taken but not successfully completed the State board of Nursing examination within the first year following graduation.  After one year will be demoted to a non-licensed position.

• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
