About the role

Description

Maytronics, the leading innovator in automatic pool robotics and parent company to the Dolphin brand, is in search of a Warehouse Manager for our Greenville, SC location. We’ve grown at an exciting pace over the past few years, and we are looking for an exceptional candidate to join our team. 

The Warehouse Manager focuses on the receiving, order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, coordination of transportation activities. The Warehouse Manager will be based in the Greenville Warehouse Operation and support a 7 day a week operation for 2 Business Units. Summary of essential job functions -- performs and supervises the following tasks.

  • Management of our 2 Business Units in the Greenville Warehouse. Initial focus will be to support the start up of the new location, onboarding all resources, and processes and systems.
  • Ensures purchase orders, inventory transfers, orders are processed to SLA’s. 
  • Resolves EDI errors related to warehouses.
  • Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse.
  • Replenishes stock and inventory as needed to ensure orders are picked with the highest levels of efficiency.
  • Provide training, mentoring, coaching and leadership to the warehouse staff.
  • Manage warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment.
  • Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with executive management and other team leads.
  • Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employees.
  • Responsible for recruitment, hiring, training, performance management, and discipline of all direct reports, including temporary/seasonal staff.
  • Audits inventory control activities to assure inventory processes are consistent and accurate.
  • Leads daily cycle count activities and conducts variance reconciliation, problem identification, and corrective action implementation.
  • Uses Operating Systems (Priority and Sellercloud) Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and email daily to conduct data analysis.
  • Responsible for maintenance of warehouse equipment, providing both preventive maintenance programs and all necessary repairs. Ensures that the warehouse personnel have safe, efficient equipment in order to perform the distribution functions.
  • Responsible for warehouse safety programs to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees and within the regulations of all OSHA, local and state regulations.

Requirements

 Requirements:

  • Associates degree or 5 years of inventory control, distribution or purchasing experience. 
  • 2 plus years of supervisory experience with permanent and temporary work force.
  • Advanced computer user with experience in ERP systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of MS office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

 

Abilities required.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
