Senior Cloud Cybersecurity Engineer

Location: Tampa, Florida Required Clearance:  TS-SCICertifications: Relevant 8140 certification (e.g., SRA+ or CND or Network+ or Security+) plus Computing Operating Environment certification (ITIL 4 Training, AWS Certification OR MS Azure CertificationRequired Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another related fieldRequired Experience: Eight plus (8+) years’ experience in managing cybersecurity in Cloud platforms
Position Description:  
As a Cloud Cybersecurity Engineer, you will provide cybersecurity for a hybrid-cloud enterprise end-state, leveraging DoD CONUS and OCONUS cloud for both classified and unclassified on-premises data centers, and tactical edge cloud computing equipment, to provide operational and business efficiencies associated with cloud technology.  This is in direct support of CENTCOM at Mac Dill AFB, Tampa FL. 
Responsibilities:
• Regularly evaluates cloud applications, hardware, and software• Responds to technical issues and offers guidance in infrastructure movement techniques including bulk application transfers into the cloud• Works closely with IT security to monitor cloud privacy• Provides security assistance ensuring mission essential technology moves forward• Performs certification and accreditation tasks related to new and existing CENTCOM IT projects and information systems• Performs monitoring operations; reports cyber security events and anomalies; provides analysis and recommendations, Vulnerability Management and Malware Protection / Vulnerability Assessment and Analysis, incident handling, mission operations transfer, and assessment support
Required Qualifications
• TS-SCI• Eight plus (8+) years’ experience in managing cybersecurity in Cloud platforms • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another related field• Relevant 8140 certification (e.g., SRA+ or CND or Network+ or Security+) plus Computing Operating Environment certification (ITIL 4 Training, AWS Certification OR MS Azure Certification
Desired Qualifications
• Prior CENTCOM experience• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Oracle Cloud
