Inside Sales Professional - Domestic Sales Associate - Onsite (Monday - Friday 9am-6pm)

Supervisory Responsibilities:

The position does not have supervisory responsibility.    

 

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Communicate and interact daily with customers though telephone, email, fax, Price Guide Pro and other methods to provide industry leading customer experience.
• Occasional interactions through trade shows, customer visits, counter sales, and industry events.
• Perform data entry of customer orders into company order system.
• Provide product selection with the customer’s input utilizing your technical skills
• Solve customers with any discrepancies, questions, and concerns.
• Create a process for authorizations for the return of merchandise following established company policies and procedures.
• Assist the Customer Service Department as required on a regular basis with any duties typically associated with that position.
• Participate in seminars and other training as required.
• Assist in the establishment and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures.
• Work in team environment
• Promote and maintain a clean and safe work environment by complying with procedures, policies, training, and regulations
• Ensure established policies and procedures are followed
• Participate in continuous improvement project team activities
• Other duties as assigned

 

Education/Experience/Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required
• Significant and detailed product knowledge of performance aftermarket automotive parts
• Significant hands-on experience working on automotive/mechanical projects

 

Skills & Abilities:

• Experience with company’s operating systems (both SxE and IRMS) is preferred
• Have strong communication skills and be able to communicate effectively through speaking, listening, and writing to build lasting relationships
• Work in a team-oriented fashion as well as independently
• Sales growth motivated to increase sales and maintain established margins
• Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment
• Keep management abreast of activity
• Ability to efficiently use computer and applicable software
• Use problem solving skills and sound judgment in the dispatch of duties
• Adapt to frequent changes in the work environment
• Motivated to exceed expectations for excellent customer satisfaction
• Use equipment and materials properly
• Practice safe work habits

Physical Demands:

The employee is frequently required to reach with arms and hands, stand, twist, bend, walk and sit. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
