The Role

As a Senior Backend Developer at Safello, you will be a key contributor to our development team, building and scaling the APIs powering our mobile and web applications. You’ll write well-tested, high-performance code and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. Reporting directly to the CTO, you will also guide architectural decisions that enhance the reliability and scalability of our backend systems.

About You

• 9+ years of experience as a Backend Developer, ideally with Java Spring Boot

• Skilled in SQL, AWS setup and cloud infrastructure

• Comfortable with CI/CD pipelines as a core part of your workflow

• Familiar with microservice infrastructure and design patterns

• Experienced in building high-transaction, high-availability systems

• Able to write clean, testable code and conduct effective code reviews

• Strong problem solver who can troubleshoot and optimize existing services

• Team-first mindset, excellent communication skills, and a drive to innovate
