Job Description

Eurofins is currently looking to hire a PART-TIME Courier in Hanover, MD: 

Courier responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Transporting samples in accordance with appropriate project-specific sampling and analysis plans and protocols
• Maintaining quality control of all assignments and completing documents as appropriate 
• Following and enforcing company health and safety policies.
• Following technical instructions and guidance.
• Operating a company vehicle. 
• The courier will need to travel to locations typically within a 90 minute radius from our location in Hanover, MD.  This will include traveling into Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, MD as needed. 
• Role will be about 50 % courier/driving responsibilities and about 50% order filling and warehouse work. 

The position is part-time, and will an estimated 2 days/week, 9am-5:30pm.

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid state issued driver’s license to drive delivery vehicles is required as an employee with driving responsibilities.
• Must be able to operate a motor vehicle 
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

The ideal candidate would possess:

• Ability to follow GPS directions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous professional driving experience 
• Previous warehouse or order filling experience

Additional Information

Pay rate: $18/hour

Please note - Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range for informational purposes, the actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill set, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location.
