Job Details

As an HR Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive workplace culture by providing expert coaching and guidance to line managers and associates on a variety of associate relations issues, from attendance and performance to harassment concerns. You will have the opportunity to conduct meaningful investigations, facilitate exit interviews, and offer outplacement support—all while working remotely through phone and internet.   • Investigates associate complaints and disputes; Maintains appropriate records/files of investigations; works with COE – Associate Relations with more complex investigations.
  • Provides advice and counsel to associates and managers on both routine and complex associate relations issues to resolve work-related conflicts and promote increased communication.
  • Advises managers on issues (e.g., discipline, coaching associates, performance management)
  • Assists associates with the interpretation of Company policies and responds to inquiries, concerns, and grievances.
  • Administers progressive discipline/corrective action.
  • Coordinates and participates in the exit interview process; identifies opportunities and areas of concern requiring follow up.
  • Provides information to unemployment vendor to enable claims processing on behalf of the company.
  • Collaborates with Associate Relations COE on program goals and objectives.
  • Researches and identifies trends and communicates to Associate Relations COE.
  • Collaborates in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and programs related to associate relations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or as may be necessary (e.g., preparing and presenting special reports/trainings, participating on special projects, etc.).

Education:

  • Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year Bachelor's Degree Program or equivalent combination of experience and education. Masters in Business Administration preferred.

Work Experience:

  • Normally requires a minimum 5+ years of experience in an Associate Relations or HR Generalist role. Must have 5+ years of HR investigations experience.

  • Thorough knowledge of Cencora policies and procedures
  • Strong computer skills in order to operate effectively with company systems and programs; knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
