Role Description:

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Field Engineer (Mechanical) to support our operations in Spring, TX. This role involves field engineering, coordination with offshore design teams, and support for facility projects including pipelines, terminals, tank farms, and storage systems.

 

You’ll be responsible for (Responsibilities):

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the onsite interface between business units and the offshore (India) engineering team
• Support various stages of projects including scope definition, design, HAZOP, estimates, procurement, scheduling, and construction
• Conduct field verification, walk-downs, and data collection with high attention to detail
• Coordinate with local vendors and project stakeholders to gather and communicate technical requirements
• Ensure quality checks, documentation, and communication throughout project phases
• Act as the single point of contact for the India engineering team and publish project status reports
• Assist with vendor coordination, job code setup, and project kickoff meetings
• May involve domestic travel and overnight stays
• Work across US and India time zones as needed

Qualifications:

• 5 to 10 years of field engineering experience in piping and mechanical systems
• Design or drafting education background from an accredited institution preferred
• Strong understanding of piping, pumps, valves, flow meters, tanks, flares, docks, and foundations
• Basic knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems is preferred
• Experience in oil and gas engineering and facility design projects

You’ll have (Qualification & Experience):

•  Bachelor's Degree in related field is required.
