Director, CART Class Expansion

Location: NJ Based

Join us as we expand our cutting-edge Cell Therapy Medical organization. We have an opening for a Director, CART Class Expansion, Cell Therapy, which will report directly to the Senior Director, Lymphoma Lead, Cell Therapy. The ideal candidate will create unified strategic plans for class expansion across diseases/therapeutic areas and oversee their seamless execution.  Success in this role requires a deep understanding of the unique unmet needs as well as the healthcare infrastructure for cell therapy and a strong ability to collaborate effectively across matrix functions. 

  

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute medical strategic and tactical plan that supports the expansion of the CAR T class
  • Identify gaps and create innovative solutions to improve delivery of transformational Cell Therapy to patients
  • Represent US Medical affairs on key Cell Therapy workstreams to deliver on organizational goals and reinforce the impact of Medical Affairs
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners (Field Medical, WW Medical, Commercial, Clinical, Legal, Regulatory, etc.) to leverage synergy, enhance communication, and ensure alignment
  • Advance evidence generation aligned to CAR T class expansion in partnership with other Medical and HEOR colleagues
  • Provide oversight to medical activities around the Breyanzi LCM indications (CLL, MCL, FL, and MZL)

Qualifications & Experience

  • Advanced Medical/Biology degree (MS, PhD, PharmD) with clinical and/or minimal 5 years of Pharma industry experience required
  • Deep knowledge of US Healthcare system and Cell Therapy customer needs
  • Highly organized, efficient, and motivated individual with the ability to lead multiple projects and initiatives across matrix teams
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to navigate complex situations and gain alignment with diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills, with the presence to interface with management teams
  • Proven agility in prioritizing and navigating competing demands
  • Estimated 15-20% travel (as applicable)
