Emergency Dept. Physician

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Department Physician to join our team at Klickitat Valley Health, a rural critical access hospital. This full-time role offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality, compassionate care in a close-knit community setting. Our emergency department is a cornerstone of the local healthcare system, delivering essential services to patients with a wide range of urgent health needs.

Our ED Physicians work 24-hour shifts, with an average census of 15 visits/day.  The ER is staffed with one physician, two RNs and one ED Tech.  Life-Flight base only 30 miles away allowing for extremely fast air transfer response time.  Comfortable sleep room near ER available for physician on duty.  Full-time benefits are offered at six 24-hour shifts per month.  Benefits package includes M/D/V/Rx, Short & Long Term Disability, Life Insurance, Retirement, Paid Time Off, CME, license and professional membership fees, and malpractice insurance.  Competitive salary, signing bonus, temporary housing and relocation assistance are available.   

Klickitat Valley Health is a rural, critical-access hospital (trauma level 4) located in scenic Goldendale, Washington only two hours from Portland along the breathtaking Columbia River Gorge. KVH offers emergency and acute inpatient care and a full scope of ancillary services including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Wound Care, Diagnostic Imaging, Laboratory, PT / OT, Behavioral Health, Dental, Optometry, Retail Pharmacy and Hospice. The hospital also owns a busy, well-established primary care and same day appointment clinic that is located on hospital campus. Inpatient care is managed by 24/7 Hospitalist staff.  KVH employs 300 staff and is one of the largest employers in the county.
