Job Description
**This is a Full Time position at 40 hours per week for the Plastic Surgery specialty located at the Algonquin clinic. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8a-5p. This individual will not only help schedule surgeries, but will be the main point person for insurance authorizations. Experience in dealing with insurance authorizations is highly preferred. Will also assist with providing quotes for cosmetic and other procedures not covered by insurance."

Responsibilities:
- Registers and schedules patients for surgical and pre-operative procedures.
- Inform patients of their financial responsibilities.
- Provide patients with surgical and procedural information and instructions as appropriate.
- Obtains and/or facilitates pre-certification as required.
- Maintains calendars and schedules related to surgical and pre-operative procedures.
- Answers all incoming patient inquiries.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 2 years previous healthcare experience.
- Experience in a customer service role.
Preferred:
- Bachelors degree.
- Previous experience with an electronic medical records system.
