Job Description:

Note: This is a tipped position. Pay is the NYS minimum for tipped employees ($10.35/hr. plus $5.15/hr. tip credit when applicable) plus tips.

At Amore Italian Restaurant & Louge, our bartenders play an important role with our guests to promote and sell items by sharing extensive knowledge about our menu and beverage offerings. In addition, you will assist guests in choosing the perfect items to accompany their meal. The bar is an integral part of our restaurant, so it is key that our bartenders take pride in providing incredible customer service that ensures our guests feel valued and appreciated. What will I do?

• Provide excellent service by serving guests in a courteous, attentive and efficient manner
• Maintain the bar area, place drink orders and prepare drinks to order
• Create a positive and energetic atmosphere while serving guests
• Study menu changes to grow your food and beverage knowledge
• Provide guests with a reason to return by building rapport and creating a memorable experience

Required Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of spirits, wine, beer and related specialty beverages
• Must be 21 years of age

Preferred Qualifications and Certifications

• Experience as a bartender or server in a fast casual restaurant
• Alcohol Server certification
• ServSafe Alcohol certification
