This position encompasses a broad array of pricing related functions across multiple data platforms. The Senior Deductions Analyst must possess relatable price administration competencies and exhibit proficiencies in data collections techniques, analysis, and research methodologies to effectively conclude complex customer deduction activity and isolate price discrepancies between our trade promotion and billing systems.
Job Description
DEDUCTIONS, ACCOUNTING & ANALYST
Investigate and research deductions and short-pay circumstances across multiple Business Units and retail channels.
Expand knowledge of the business infrastructure to enable cross-functional collaboration with the Customer Master Data team, National Account Managers, Cash Application and Collections; strong mid- to upper-level communication skillsets required, both internal and external
Assist in developing standard group policies and processes
Work with the SSC optimization teams in an on-going effort to identify programmatic or systems methods that will advance automation efforts to replace manual intensive processes
Serve as a liaison between Sales and Shared Services to identify and resolve customer functional issues and/or discrepancies and generate the appropriate data and reporting content to support conclusions
Assist in resolving unique, complex, and often data intense payment issues directly related to customer deals, on-invoice conflicts, back-end programs, or other drivers of pricing disputes
Apply critical thinking skills that promote error control and reduce downstream adjustments
Support management objectives with suggestions for improved processes and policies
Train New Employees
Support the Deductions team in the continued improvement of best working practices.
Support Deduction Manager on projects and system improvements
Qualifications
4+ years of industry-relevant experience
Must reside in the Denver metro area
Experience in Accounts Receivable and/or Deductions Management is strongly preferred, as is a solid understanding of cash application and invoicing.
Working knowledge of High Radius or SAP is a plus
Work in a fast-paced environment and navigate change effectively
Proven problem-solving and analytic skillsets
Self-directed; requires limited oversight
Proficent in Microsoft Suite
Work overtime as required
Additional Information
The base salary range for this position is $55,765 to $61,635 + cash incentives Actual salary offer may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
