Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, directly or within team, specific engineering projects and technical activities in the site of allocation, including NPD implementation support, VAVEs, cost saving or any other activities aimed to improve manufacturing processes.

  • Plans and execute continuous improvements in manufacturing technologies and processes in the plant of allocation to guarantee competitiveness and alignment with company strategies.

  • Implementing new technologies as per FHCS sourcing/production strategies.

  • Is responsible for new equipment development in the site, from supplier scouting till release to production

Additional Responsibilties:

  • He/she contributes to flawless and efficient collaboration between Production, Manuf. R&D and other relevant function in all the aspects related to engineering.

  • Contributes to the plant technology roadmap

  • Support the FHCS innovation pipeline contributing to new technologies development. 

  • Is accountable for one or more QA16 areas for the site.

Interactions (internal & external):

  • All plant(s) internal department (Manufacturing R&D, SCM, QA, HSE Controlling, Production etc)

  • Global/Regional Engineering

  • Procurement

  • Technology Panels

  • External suppliers

Qualifications:

Professional Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor (min) or Master (preferred) degree in Scientific field (preferably Engineering)

  • Mid-level of experience with engineering projects and technical activities

  • Good knowledge of local site language + fluent in written and verbal English

  • Basic experience in Project management

  • Preferred experience in structured/multi-cultural/FMCC globally operating business context

  • Safety and environmental basic knowledge

Specific Knowledge:

  • Flexibility, problem solving and priority setting oriented approach

  • Good overall technical knowledge on relevant technologies for the site

  • Basic managerial and negotiation skills

  • Relational, communication and presentation skills.
