UI Architect, Senior
Department: Development
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Dallas
Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Full Stack Developer to lead the development of a next‑generation application development capability within the Infor Mongoose platform. Mongoose is Infor’s rapid application development platform, enabling application teams to build, extend, and modernize enterprise business applications at scale.
This role is part of a greenfield initiative focused on modernizing form rendering and designer experiences using React, TypeScript, and the Infor Design System (IDS), while integrating seamlessly with an existing C# / ASP.NET backend and enterprise‑grade services.
A Typical Day in the Life Includes:
- Design and implement a scalable React application architecture using TypeScript.
- Build reusable, accessible UI components using Infor Design System (IDS) components and theming.
- Implement advanced design patterns (e.g., Factory, Strategy, Observer) to enable dynamic form rendering from metadata and schemas
- Design and implement RESTful APIs using C# and ASP.NET (MVC/Web API / ASP.NET Core, depending on subsystem).
- Integrate the React front end with existing backend services and contracts.
- Implement secure authentication/authorization patterns appropriate to enterprise deployments.
- Establish architectural patterns (e.g., Clean Architecture, layered separation, SOLID, dependency management).
Basic Qualifications:
- Software development experience.
- Experience with React development with TypeScript.
- Experience withC# / ASP.NET development (.NET Framework and/or .NET Core/.NET).
- Understanding of object‑oriented programming, design patterns, and clean code practices.
- Proficiency with Git workflows (PRs/MRs, code review, branching strategies).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Building complex UIs in React with design discipline (component boundaries, composition, maintainability).
- Establishing pragmatic state management strategies for designer-style workflows (local vs shared state, derived state, async orchestration).
- Applying patterns for component-driven development: design systems, reusable primitives, accessibility-first composition.
- Implementing clear integration patterns when bridging different UI paradigms (e.g., React with Web Components / IDS).
- Experience with incremental modernization and interoperability with legacy stacks (knowing what to replace vs wrap vs isolate).
- Experience testing for UI architecture (component tests + integration tests to reduce regressions).
