Location: USA (remote)


Responsibilities:

  • Use Allucent's Excel budget template and relevant contract templates and working procedures to create contracts from scarth.
  • Develop and maintain templates and tools to assist in the management of the contract processes, e.g. template CDA, CRSA, MSA.
  • Produce and negotiate Client Specific Contracts in Allucent template (with Manager review/input). Review, revise, and negotiate Client Specific Contracts in client template while mitigating risk to and protecting the interests of Allucent, as required.
  • Review contracts ensuring they are correct as per the client’s expectations and protect Allucent’s interests. Ensure all contracts have been through the correct internal review procedure.
  • Understand and apply appropriate payment types as client needs dictate, including time & materials, fixed priced, and unit priced.
  • Participate in client contract negotiation, including group negotiation calls and direct client communication.
  • Periodically review approved template agreements and recommend standardized changes as new needs are identified or issues are discovered.
  • Work with Legal & Contracts Team and Finance to build appropriate inflation and exchange rate protection into Allucent contracts and to include payment schedules which enable Allucent to remain ‘cash neutral’.
  • Support Legal & Contracts team members as needed.
  • Attend the daily and weekly BD teleconferences as needed.
  • Attend in house ongoing training whenever possible.
  • Actively support to staff learning & development within the company with regard to budget tools and contracting tools and subject areas
  • Contribute to other areas of business as required and take part in client evaluations, visits, and bid defenses
  • Foster good communication and relationships with business development team and project management teams
  • Assure good communication and relationships with (future) clients
  • Draft and contribute as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the field of contracts to facilitate the evaluation/improvement of processes and procedures within the Quality Management System

Requirements

  • Life science, healthcare and/or business degree
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including good command of English language
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience (Sr. Contracts Analyst)
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience (Contracts Analyst)
  • Minimum 1 years of experience in drug development and/or clinical research is preferred (both positions)
  • Basic knowledge of GxP is preferred
  • GDPR/HIPAA and applicable (local) regulatory requirements
