Salary:  $55,000 - $65,000 / year

Job Summary

As the Assistant General Manager, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing the daily operations of a vibrant, high-volume dining program.

In this hands-on role, you will manage and motivate a team of associates, uphold uncompromising standards for food quality and service, and support operational and financial objectives. A passion for hospitality, excellence, and client satisfaction is essential. Flexibility is required to occasionally support evening or weekend events aligned with client and guest needs.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support food service operations in alignment with budgetary goals, driving value for the client.

• Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional food and service to guests.

• Build and sustain collaborative relationships with associates, partners, and clients.

• Provide daily team leadership, quality assurance, and operational execution.

• Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure account success.

 

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of progressive food service management experience in campus dining, restaurants, hotels, healthcare, corporate, or military environments.

• Strong culinary and operational expertise, including purchasing and cost control.

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet-based applications.

• Associate’s degree preferred.
