Our client, a leading government agency, is seeking a Software Engineer to support their mission in international security and technology. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge software solutions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Hourly Rate: $68-73/hr

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and modify in-house software
- Research and propose solutions to counter emerging threats
- Collaborate with field users and hardware engineers
- Conduct R&D on equipment for threat detection
- Work on vulnerabilities in various communication technologies


Other Details:
- Full-time position

- Requires Top Secret security clearance
- In-person work location

Requirements

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of software engineering experience
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, SQL, and Python
- Experience with Linux software development
- Familiarity with Raspberry Pi, Arduino, or similar platforms
- Knowledge of IoT trends
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Willingness to learn new languages and coding
- Attention to detail and multitasking abilities

Desired Skills:
- Experience with software defined radio systems
- Golang programming

Work Environment:
- Primarily office-based with potential for domestic and international travel
- May include work in critical threat locations with austere conditions
