ABOUT THE ROLE
As Associate Manager, Project Management in the International Consumer Brands Home Cleaning business unit you are responsible for delivering new product development for our Furniture, Glass, Disinfection, and Fabric Care product forms. You will develop these by following an End-to-End project management process framework while providing strong technical knowledge throughout the life of the project. As a member of the R&D team you will work within and lead cross functional teams.
This role has accountability for detailed and timely communication, identification of process or principal deviations, initiating trade-off and issue escalation discussions, and to maintain project progress to goals. Clear communication, success criteria, scope, timelines, risk mitigation plans and a strong partnership with our business and supply chain leads are key to success in role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage products through the new product development process. Develop timelines, key milestones, and risk and mitigation plans
Build strong partnerships with our Business and Supply Chain partners to act as One Team
Communicate to project champions and sponsors and translate technical topics to enable good decision making
Create products that consumers find appealing and easy to use; products and packaging that is compelling and allows SC Johnson to "win at the store shelf"
Provide technical and project leadership within a multi-functional team to drive the development of innovative new products
Provide technical assistance to resolve technical problems, maintain production schedules and product quality
Stay in the forefront of innovations and trends so that new technologies can be leveraged in new products and new product packaging
A focus on continuous improvement of product and process
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 6 years of RD&E / project management experience across functional teams OR Master’s Degree with at least 4 years of RD&E / project management experience across functional teams
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Excellent problem-solving skills and decision-making with stakeholder alignment
Experience to interface, lead and build relationships with multiple levels and functions internal and external to the corporation

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with success in influencing others in cross-functional areas
Highly organized, flexible, and able to quickly adapt from one situation to the next with strong analytics and attention to detail
Proven track record in driving creative, innovative new product development processes that result in product and portfolio growth

Remote work available once a week for eligible employees
International and US Domestic travel up to 25%
