Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Surgical Supply Coordinator for our Surgical Services Department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
As a Surgical Supply Coordinator you will:
• Meet with vendors to obtain product and pricing information, acts as the vendor liaison to resolve vendor issues, helps monitor vendor compliance and performance on an ongoing basis to ensure proper BO submittal
• Perform reviews of all invoices, identifying discrepancies to ensure vendor adherence to negotiated prices and established terms before payment is rendered
• Coordinate and maintain records of medical device insertions and completed data forms and coordinates this information with Hospital wide tracking system. Reconcile invoices of devices against patient charges
• Provide support to management in the development of procedures and objectives for department quality improvement. Provides support for the department’s (QI) initiatives by assisting with the development and implementation of new procedures and processes
• Participate in annual inventory process (pre-planning, inventory count, revision of inventory charge template)
• Provide exceptional customer service to physicians and staff in Perioperative Services by ensuring the timely availability of high-quality equipment and supplies at the lowest possible cost
• First line of review of Account Payable’s invoice reclassification for all surgical services departments
• Respect the patient’s right to privacy and dignity and maintains confidentiality of all SGMC patient information
Qualifications include:
• High School Diploma or GED OR technician background preferable
• Medical supply, inventory background desired
Work Schedule:
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Hours per Week: 40 hrs/week
- Typical Daily Schedule: 6:30 am-3:30 PM Monday through Friday

Pay Range:
$21.02 - $28.03If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
