A&A Cyber Security Engineer

The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos is seeking a junior/intermediate level A&A (Assessment and Authorization) Engineer to support the JRSS (Joint Regional Security Stack) program.  In this role, you will work closely with other IT professionals to ensure and maintain the accreditation of the JRSS system.

This role is a full time remote role and requires a secret clearance.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work with senior A&A staff to maintain RMF packages to support the JRSS ATO.

• Support the maintenance of JRSS RMF documentation

• Review policies and procedures against DoD security policies and regulations and provide recommendations to senior A&A staff.

• Review system security plans and contingency plans and work with senior A&A staff.to prepare these plans for review and approval by the customer

Basic Qualifications:

• Education : BS degree in a related technical field and 2 – 4 years of prior relevant experience. Specific experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree.

• Familiarity with the following technologies: TCP/IP, DHCP, WAN/LAN interface technologies, DNS, subnetting, windows PowerShell, bash and Active Directory. 

• Possess current Security+ certification and Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Nessus

• Experience recommending additional security requirements and safeguards.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $65,000.00 - $117,500.00
