Job Summary:
We are looking for an energetic and motivated Account Executive. As an Account Executive I, you will be tasked with managing, developing and growing business with existing and new customers to expand the distribution of the CooperVision Inc, Specialty EyeCare (CVI SEC) product portfolio. Building professional sales relationships with assigned customers, utilizing a consultative selling style while operating independently. This position requires daily in-person and virtual client interactions with Eye Care Professionals, along with new business prospecting. Responsible for collaborating with colleagues for mutually beneficial business outcomes. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in medical device sales or clinical fitting experience, preferably, with specialty contact lenses.
Essential Functions & Accountabilities:
- Meet and exceed projected sales goals based on territory quota established by sales management for the given territory.
- Manage and deploy sales, marketing, and educational resources in a manner that assures acceptance by practitioners.
- Leverage knowledge of Eye Care industry, competition, and product portfolio to meet and exceed customer needs.
- Demonstrate knowledge of customer needs, priorities, and practice dynamics.
- Demonstrate clear understanding of CooperVision Specialty EyeCare portfolio and utilize professional selling skills and technical acumen to grow market share.
- Responsible for establishing and executing an effective call cycle and territory business plan to meet or exceed sales objectives.
- Provide regular review and analysis of key metrics, with documented adjustments to strategy, based on data indicator with managerial guidance.
- Remain dedicated to meeting customer needs quickly and accurately. Return inquiries within 24 hours.
- Responsible for integration and training of CooperVision Specialty EyeCare suite of technology and value-added products to enhance customer experience.
- Implement marketing plans and promotions to grow business and monitor to insure return on investment.
- Implement practice management programs, plans, and actions for practitioners, including:
- Integrating new accounts, newly certified practitioners, and initiate call within 24 hours.
- Provide practice management training for practitioners and staff via onsite visits, webinars, phone, and email communication.
- Educate all practitioners on current promotions and product portfolio.
- Participate in state, regional and national optical shows when requested – including weekends.
- Submit all administrative reports on a timely basis, including but not limited to CRM call reports, expense reports, territory reviews and ROI reports.
- Identify the need for value-added tools, working collaboratively with appropriate departments in creation of practice management tools and materials for eye care practitioners.
- Other duties as assigned.
Travel Requirements:
- Overnight travel within territory up to 50%.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite of tools (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Advance skills through training and daily use.
- Daily use of CRM to report client interactions and utilize report to analyze products, account sales and overall territory growth.
- Excellent organizational skills and territory management.
- Positive attitude and constructive team collaboration, as well as building strong relationships.
- Anticipate, understand, prioritize to meet customer needs.
- Adapt to a changing work environment; various situations, individuals and/or groups.
