Associate Regional Medical Safety Officer, North America

This position reports to the Regional Medical Safety Offier (RMSO), North America and is based at Summit, New Jersey.

Role reports to: Regional Medical Safety Officer, North America

Location: Summit, New Jersey

Travel %: 5%

Pay: $166,000 - $225,000

 

What you will do 

The Associate RMSO is responsible for collaborating with relevant cross-functional partners to ensure that all potential safety concerns for products authorized in the assigned region are identified, assessed, and managed appropriately from the benefit-risk and risk management perspectives, from product development and throughout the product lifecycle. The Associate RMSO, North America also serves as a global subject matter expert (SME) for safety related topics at the request of the RMSO/s or cross-functional partners.

Key Responsibilities

·       Lead the development and implementation of innovative medical safety strategies for North America region, and globally as required

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive creative solutions for medical safety challenges

·       Conduct in-depth analysis of safety data to identify potential risks and develop proactive risk mitigation plans

·       Stay abreast of emerging trends in medical safety and incorporate cutting-edge practices into regional strategies

·       Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance medical safety processes and protocols

Qualifications

 

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

·    Physician (MD or equivalent degree) with at least 3 years clinical experience

·    Ability to leverage medical knowledge to understand the clinical/m
