What will you get out of the Internship?
The Moving4Ward Internship Program has been developed to provide students with a fun yet rewarding summer through hands-on experience and numerous opportunities to network with employees in the organization. The internship position is meant to provide projects focusing on ways to propel Orthofix forward, while also advancing the student’s career. Successful candidates for this internship position will gain valuable experience in the medical device industry, which could shape career decisions and create future employment opportunities. In this role, the student will work with the Orthopedics Medical Education Team focused on providing innovative medical device solutions to orthopedic surgeons for limb reconstruction focusing on limb preservation, deformity correction, and limb lengthening .
Potential Projects:
- Participate in and provide assistance will all onsite and Medical Education and Sales Training events (pre-event planning, onsite event assistance, and post event breakdown for workshops and cadaveric labs)
- Assist in the management and tracking of medical education social media posts and website updates
- Create Medical Education Course Communication Template for Registered Surgeons and present to both Medical Education and Marketing Teams
- Assist in the organization and auditing of compliance documentation for medical education events
- Assist in the processing of medical education expenses and reports
- Assist in the creation and analysis of surveys for medical education events and report analysis to Medical Education, Marketing and Sales Teams
Student Eligibility:
In order to qualify for this Intern opportunity, the student must:
- Have the legal right to work in the US.
- Be currently enrolled at an accredited university as an undergraduate or graduate student.
- Be in excellent academic standing, Minimum Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA, or higher.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Demonstrate creativity and be self-motivated along with the ability to multi-task across different projects.
- Have knowledge of and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
