Location & Duration:
Based out of Klamath Falls, OR, we have two (2) full-time, seasonal positions starting August 1, 2024 through March 31, 2025. Work will be conducted primarily in streams in the Klamath River Basin.
What you will do:
In cooperation with The Klamath Tribes and other state, federal, and NGO partners, this position will assist in monitoring fish that volitionally repopulate newly available habitat in the Klamath Watershed.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Walks and floats streams to estimate redd and adult steelhead and salmon numbers.
Samples adult carcasses, measure length, collect scales and other tissues determine sex, and assess
