A well-established provider of landscape and snow services is seeking a Landscape Sales and Snow Services Support professional in Brooklyn Park, MN. This role involves inside sales, customer service, yard operations, and support for training materials. The position requires working in various weather conditions and assisting with transactions, deliveries, and equipment operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strong understanding of products and services.
  • Manage inside sales for mulch, landscape products, and snow plowing services.
  • Provide on-site customer support, including handling phone and email inquiries.
  • Load and unload trucks and trailers.
  • Assist in formatting and editing training materials for the LMS.
  • Process payments and schedule deliveries.
  • Prepare invoices and coordinate with accounting teams.
  • Direct yard traffic safely and collaborate with yard operators.
  • Perform yard maintenance and operate equipment such as a water truck and skid steer.
  • Follow safety protocols and company policies.
  • Identify process improvements for greater efficiency.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of recent experience in an outdoor work environment, such as a landscape center, plant nursery, farm, or snow removal service.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work in environments with dust, dirt, and varying temperatures.
  • Capability to stand for long periods and lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to work independently.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Two or four years of experience in a landscape-related field.
  • Ability to operate company trucks.
  • Willingness to work weekends and extended hours during peak seasons.
  • Strong mathematical and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Experience operating a skid steer.
