Compensation and Benefits

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: Salary up to $32,056.00 per month

Commensurate with education, experience and qualifications. Coaching positions are not tenure track and do not guarantee future employment rights. This is a full-time, exempt appointment. 

NOTE: Multiple Football Coordinator positions may be filled via this vacancy announcement. 

This is a CSU Management Personnel Plan (MPP) Position. 

Positions at Fresno State are to perform their work onsite. Some positions, depending upon University needs and operations, may be eligible for remote work, one day per week, pursuant to Fresno State's remote work guidelines and the CSU Policy. 

The CSU system provides a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental and vision plans, membership in the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS), sick and vacation time, and 15 paid holidays a year. Job Summary

The Offensive Coordinator is responsible to support the Head Football Coach to develop and sustain a strong, competitive Division I football program.

 

Key Qualifications

  • Knowledge of NCAA rules and policies
  • Coaching philosophy and teaching concepts must be compatible with those of the Head Coach
  • Ability to work cooperatively with coaches, staff, faculty, students and members of the community
  • Ability and willingness to support the diversity and equity commitments of the department
  • Commitment to academic integrity and compliance with University, conference and NCAA regulations

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited four year university or college
  • Experience coaching football at the Division I Collegiate level, in the NFL, or other professional football league
  • Experience as an Offensive Coordinator
  • Experience recruiting student-athletes
