From great products to long-lasting companies, we believe that nothing great is made alone—come <a href="https://www.figma.com/blog/inside-maker-week-more-than-a-hackathon/" target="_blank">make</a> with us!</p><p>We’re looking for a Senior Accountant that will work in our International Accounting department, reporting into the Senior Manager, Accounting. </p> <p><strong>This role will be a 12 month fixed term contract based in Dublin in a hybrid working environment. </strong></p> <p><strong>What you'll do at Figma</strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform month-end close activities including balance sheet recons for Figma’s international entities, posting of journals and monthly flux analysis</li> <li>Responsible for reporting requirements under U.S GAAP </li> <li>Liaise with external auditors and support the Statutory audit process</li> <li>Support  the roll out of international expansion projects and implementation of new accounting systems </li> <li>Support specific accounting projects related to automation and continuous improvement </li> <li>Partner closely with the US team to ensure alignment with company expectations and standards</li> <li>Build strong business partnerships with key budget owners and manage global 3rd party service providers including managing process change updates</li> <li>Support ad-hoc activities and projects as they arise</li> </ul> <p><strong>We’d love to hear from you if you have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proven experience in an accounting role with a strong understanding in industry, like minded companies </li> <li>Experience with managing and completing month end close </li> <li>Experience in statutory reporting processes </li> <li>Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ ACCA) minimum 3 years PQE </li> </ul> <h4><strong>While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Experience working in various accounting systems (NetSuite and Coupa is a plus) as well as broader systems experience such as excellent MS office skills</li> <li>Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams</li> <li>Experience in US GAAP month end close preparation and procedures </li> <li>Self-starter and independent thinker with desire to work in a fast-paced scaling international organization</li> </ul> <p><span>#LI-KS1</span></p><p>At Figma we celebrate and support our differences.
