About the role

This position is responsible for leading the development and delivery of technical sales enablement programs spanning the requirements for the sales teams of both North America OCI and Cloud Data Platform. 

The person fulfilling this role specifies the in-depth technical enablement requirements of the sales teams. The individual will develop a prospective training syllabus and collaborate with both sales and Cloud Engineering leadership to ensure that the training topics are tailored to the specific development needs of the OCI and Cloud Data Platform sales teams.

Thereafter, they will drive the development of the sales enablement materials which will comprise curation & tailoring of existing training offerings along with the development of original training materials.  To achieve the latter result, the individual with recruit other expert contributors and lead the enablement development effort with them.  Additionally, the individual will craft original material of their own.

The individual will deliver enablement to the sales organizations both virtually and in-person

This person has substantial technical depth and is able to lead collaboration, technical enablement, and storytelling.  The candidate should have 5+ years’ experience, including direct experience as a sales engineer or architect.

Responsibilities

This role has the following key component responsibilities:

  • Working with sales and cloud engineering leadership to documents enablement requirements
  • Creating technical sales enablement programs tailored to the requirements of NA OCI and Cloud Data Platform teams
  • Leading collaborative efforts to build the materials required for the training syllabus
  • Developing new enablement materials as needed
  • Leading sales development workshops for teams of reps to sharpen their technical sales skills

Meets with Sales leaders to create strategic marketing plan in support of Sales pipeline and revenue objectives. Participant in regular pipeline and forecast review meetings. Develops and implements tactical marketing programs in conjunction with Sales, Channels, Product Marketing, Product Management, Oracle Direct (Telesales), and external influencers such as user groups and industry trade associations. Provides onsite execution support for marketing programs. Tracks lead flow to ensure the appropriate Sales channels are following up with event attendees and campaign responders in a timely manner. Creates and manages program budget, measures ROI through metrics analysis and reporting.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $79,100 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
