The Senior Financial Systems/Data Analyst for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for the implementation of business intelligence solutions, including the development and enhancement of financial analysis and reporting tools that our finance business partners will utilize to deliver key insights and drive improved financial results. You will also work on projects related to database systems, data integration, ETL and report development, primarily in the Microsoft environment (MSSQL, PowerBI, SSIS, and Excel).
This position is part of the Global Finance Data Insights department located in Brea, California and will be a hybrid position. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:
· Lead financial reporting and system enhancement initiatives by defining requirements, designing solutions, and testing new functionality.
· Work with stakeholders to understand the business, identify challenges, and propose/implement solutions.
· Take ownership of the complete data lifecycle – from data gathering to data storage to data manipulation/calculation, and to the presentation of that data.
· Recommend and implement process improvement/re-engineering in the form of high-impact initiatives.
· Increase efficiency by automating existing manual processes and develop Power BI reporting.
· Design, create, and maintain efficient, automated recurring ETL jobs.
The essential requirements of the job include:
· Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years’ experience OR Master’s degree in field with 3+ years’ experience OR Doctoral degree in field with 0+ years experience
· Extensive experience with PowerBI implementation, Relational Databases (MSSQL), writing complex SQL scripts, ETL tools, Excel, and VBA
· Experience in spearheading a project from start to finish
· Able to work independently and in teams with strong verbal and written communication skills
· Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines with strong attention to detail and handling multiple projects simultaneously
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
· Second major or degree in Finance/Accounting, Business, or Economics is considered a plus
· Working in a Finance-related role
· Experience with Salesforce, EPM, OneStream, or other FP&A software

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $100,000 - $120,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
