Compensation $75,000 to $100,000 annually. 

*This range reflects Carestream’s good faith estimate to pay fairly as starting wage. Offers will be tailored within the range based on the selected candidate’s experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process, as well as geographic market differentials for the position.

Position Summary:

 

The  Manufacturing Supervisor directs and coordinates Manufacturing Operations at CHO to deliver business objectives while fostering a properly trained, informed and safe workforce. The supervisor directs activities according to local and corporate policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations, and coordinates with the Operations Manager. 

Position Responsibilities:

•    Execute operational strategy. Ensure effective operational goals, plans and procedures are in place to monitor and drive performance in Safety, Quality, Productivity and Delivery.
•    Assist in preparation of AOP (Annual Operating Plan). Manage costs to meet AOP.
•    Monitor operations. Ensure a sense of urgency in addressing issues, escalate and request additional resources as necessary.
•    Maintain and improve quality management system requirements.
•    Work with R&D and New Product Development group to enable introduction and scale-up of products.
•    Maintain all systems and processes consistent with applicable environmental and regulatory requirements.
•    Develop people and teams. Provide honest, constructive feedback, coaching, and recognition to individuals and teams.
•    Maintain a well-trained workforce – ensure talent resources support the needs of the business.
•    Ensure corporate and site policies are followed regarding work time, break/lunch times, overtime, time reporting, etc.
•    Establish standards, guidelines, and processes to be applied for employee performance reviews. Assess contributions and performance of team. Provide feedback to employees. 
 

Required Skills & Education:

•    HS diploma or GED required.
•    Minimum 3 years of Supervisory experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment or minimum 5 years in a Group Leader position.
•    Proficient in basic math and computer skills—Microsoft Office Suite.
•    Writing skills sufficient for creating standard work documentation and special work instructions
•    Self-starter with strong analytical skills working with little direct supervision.
•    Able to multi-task and prioritize workload. Approaches problems and challenges systematically with attention to detail.
•    Interfaces well with others at all levels in both written and spoken communication.
•    Experience leading operational teams.

Desired Skills:

•    Bachelor’s degree
•    Experience with SAP.
•    Experience with Safety Data Sheet (SDS) documentation.
• ��  Experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) driven machine operation.
•    Experience with operations that fall under PSM (Process Safety Management).
