Senior Software Development Engineer - FCON

Key Job Functions

• Design and develop FortiConverter Service Automation System;
• Track official FOS releases, analyze configuration schema changes and implement the conversion logic into the automation system;
• Develop software modules to control and enhance conversion worker pipelines;
• Develop conversion smart check intelligence to reduce manual work and average delivery time;
• Optimize the conversion automation process to improve service quality;
• Maintain automation system by monitoring and correcting software defects;
• Work with programming languages Golang, Python, C++;

 QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Systems, EE or a related technical field
• Experience with software automation development
• Familiar with computer networking and firewall configurations
• Good knowledges with large scale distributed system design
• Experience with full stack development
• Excellent interpersonal skills, presentation skills, and verbal / written communication skills

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $130,000-$185,000. Fortinet offers employees a variety of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k), 11 paid holidays, vacation time, and sick time as well as a comprehensive leave program.

Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.

All roles are eligible to participate in the Fortinet equity program, Bonus eligibility is reviewed at time of hire and annually at the Company’s discretion.
