About the role

As Director, Sales Operations, you will oversee workload measurement, assess staffing needs, and ensure the Enhanced Markets organization is aligned with performance and financial targets. You will drive the creation and implementation of annual sales plans and long-term strategic initiatives for frontline sales teams, driving behavior change and motivating growth across the organization. Key responsibilities include. Additionally, this leader will collaborate closely with Sales leadership teams to prioritize, execute, and manage project deliverables and timelines, driving measurable impact across the business. You will oversee a team responsible for sales strategy, sales analysis, reporting, compliance, and governance, and invest in systems and processes to achieve organizational goals. This role partners closely with Sales Enablement, Sales Leadership, Finance, HR, and Business Intelligence to deliver best-in-class operational support and make a significant impact on Zillow’s success.

You Will Get To:

  • Design, implement, and manage sales compensation plans and incentive pay programs to drive desired behaviors and achieve strategic business objectives.

  • Oversee the governance and compliance of compensation programs, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company goals.

  • Build and lead a team focused on sales analysis, reporting, and compliance.

  • Drive process optimization initiatives to improve sales operations efficiency and scalability. 

  • Deliver actionable insights through analyses of key metrics such as compensation performance, attainment trends, cost of sales/ROI and regional performance versus supply and demand.

  • Partner with leadership across Sales Enablement, Sales Leadership, Finance, HR, and Business Intelligence to shape long term strategy and review performance.

  • Set the strategic roadmap of compensation and performance systems (including Salesforce, Tableau, and Anaplan), ensuring scalable architecture and alignment across Zillow’s ecosystem, to support sales operations and compensation management.

  • Set and govern sales operations with company-wide impacts and compensation policies, ensuring alignment with Zillow’s strategic objectives and financial goals

  •  Lead a team of individuals to support the needs detailed above.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $167,900.00 - $268,100.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.
