Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Digital IC Designer to join our innovative Mixed Signal Products team. As a key contributor to the digital IC design process, you will work closely with world-class analog designers to develop high-performance mixed-signal ICs for both consumer and automotive markets. This role focuses on embedding power-efficient custom digital cores within mixed-signal designs.
The position requires expertise in digital IC design, including custom core development, power optimization, and familiarity with ARM, DSP cores, and RISC-V architectures.
Key Responsibilities:Digital IC Design:
- Design and develop custom digital cores optimized for power efficiency, tailored for audio, haptics, and power management applications.
Low-Power Design:
- Focus on creating designs with low-power consumption, especially for battery-powered consumer and automotive applications.
Architecture Development:
- Collaborate with architects and system designers to create innovative digital architectures that integrate seamlessly with analog blocks, enhancing performance in mixed-signal ICs.
Digital Design Flow:
- Lead the digital design process, including RTL design, verification, synthesis, place-and-route, timing closure, and power optimization.
Collaboration with Analog Teams:
- Work closely with analog designers to ensure seamless integration of analog and digital components, delivering top-tier mixed-signal solutions.
Power Optimization:
- Implement techniques such as clock gating, power gating, and dynamic voltage scaling to meet strict power requirements.
Verification & Validation:
- Develop verification environments and contribute to validation plans to ensure robust designs meet performance and power specifications.
Technology Adoption:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in low-power design, digital architectures, and IC development methodologies, including ARM, DSP cores, and RISC-V architectures.
Required Qualifications:
- Expertise in Digital IC Design: Proven track record in designing and optimizing power-efficient custom digital cores.
- RTL Design and Verification: Proficiency in RTL design, synthesis, and verification for mixed-signal ICs.
- Low-Power Techniques: In-depth knowledge of clock gating, power gating, and voltage scaling for embedded systems.
- EDA Tools: Hands-on experience with industry-standard tools such as Verilog, VHDL, SystemVerilog, UVM, Cadence, Synopsys, and Mentor Graphics.
- Architecture Knowledge: Strong understanding of ARM, DSP, or RISC-V architectures and their application in low-power, high-performance systems.
- Mixed-Signal Collaboration: Experience working with analog/mixed-signal teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Implementation Experience: Practical experience in digital implementation, from design to tape-out, including timing closure and power optimization.
- Need to know Mandarin and English
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with DSP and RISC-V architectures and customization of DSP cores for specialized applications.
- Experience with ARM-based embedded systems in low-power environments.
- Knowledge of automotive IC standards (e.g., ISO 26262).
