Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in computer science, information systems, business administration, or information technology. Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or information technology related field highly preferred.
• 10 years’ experience in IT field.
• 5 years’ experience demonstrating technical and process proficiency across a broad range of IT landscape technologies and key IT disciplines. 
• 5 years’ experience managing on-premises and cloud infrastructure demonstrating cost reductions through cloud optimization, improved system uptime via proactive monitoring, and cloud migration of applications.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work with high level executive and federal government management.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure.

• Must have at least one IAT Level II — Approved Baseline Certifications (DoD 8570.01-M): You only need one of these to meet the IAT II requirement:

  • CCNA Security
  • CySA+ (CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst)
  • GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional)
  • GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials Certification)
  • Security+ CE (CompTIA Security+ Continuing Education)
  • CND (Certified Network Defender)
  • SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner)

• Information Technology Information Library (ITIL) (Expert or Managing Professional) preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
• Cloud Platform certified in one of the following: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect preferred.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and hold an active Top Secret with SCI clearance. 

Job Duties:

• Develop and maintain standardized procedures for administering infrastructure platforms, ensuring alignment with policies and technical requirements.
• Implement and configure infrastructure platforms, ensuring consistency across similar server environments.
• Oversee system maintenance, including performance tuning, load balancing, configuration management, and upgrades.
• Administer infrastructure management tools across all middleware instances to support system operations.
• Coordinate and apply software patches in accordance with change management and lifecycle procedures, including correlating internal and supplier tracking.
• Evaluate and improve infrastructure monitoring, automation, performance, cost-efficiency, and supportability.
• Assess technical impacts of changes and ensure proper use of change management tools and processes.
