Job Summary

As a MultiUnit General Manager for Compass overseeing multiple high-end client accounts and a commissary, you will play a pivotal role in leading a cross-functional team and managing various accounts within your territory. Your responsibilities will encompass strategic planning, financial goal achievement, regulatory compliance, client relationship management, and community support in our dynamic operational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and inspire a cohesive team of Managers and Executive Chefs, along with their respective teams, to deliver exceptional service.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients and drive the team towards achieving critical metrics, such as profitability, safety, and engagement.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team, actively participating in discussions with peers to share best practices, mitigate risks, promote diversity, and foster community building.
  • Oversee accounts in your territory, making informed decisions while considering risk/reward and both short-term and long-term implications.
  • Support senior leadership in setting the cultural tone within the district and region, maintaining transparency, ensuring safety, and upholding accountability.
  • Act as a representative and brand ambassador for your territory by attending client and community engagement events.
  • Work closely with the Sales, Retention, and Finance teams to develop sales proformas and proposals, actively engaging in the entire sales and retention process.
  • Collaborate with partners to address needs and solve problems by considering all perspectives and downstream impacts.
  • Ensure compliance with regional, state, and local policies governing meal and retail programs, safety, and QA requirements through audits and proactive solutions.
  • Champion the development of team members, conduct performance evaluations, facilitate succession planning, and foster the growth of single- and multi-unit management skills.
  • Take ownership of financial results and P&L for districts in your territory, working with leadership to ensure accuracy in reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Submit required reports in a timely manner as outlined by company policy.
  • Ensure consistent and equitable administration of all policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree , or five (5) years of progressive experience in multi-unit food service, hospitality management,
  • Strong background in a leadership role with exposure to contract and budget management, customer service, personnel development, food services, and negotiations.
  • Proven track record and expertise in growing a business, along with demonstrated financial proficiency.
  • Ability to think analytically, strategically, and decisively.
  • Exceptional skills in client relationship management, influencing, presentations, listening, and both written and verbal communication.
  • Advocate for inclusivity with a proactive, positive, professional, flexible, and resilient attitude.
  • Demonstrated initiative, ownership, multitasking, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Suite.
  • Travel is required for this position.
