Korn Ferry’s Operations team develops and oversees the processes required to forecast, staff, track, and manage the profitable delivery of our solutions. At times, we rely on Vendors and Third-Party Service providers to augment or tailor the offerings we provide clients. This intern position will work within the Operations function and liaise with our finance and resource management teams to strengthen our vendor management processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support end-to-end management of vendors to enable a smooth process for our client teams, and for our vendor partners. Sample responsibilities will include:
- Meet the needs of multiple user groups by designing a searchable database to store vendor information for client teams, operations teams, and approvers.
- Create a feedback process for gathering information on vendor quality and performance from client teams.
- Analyze vendor usage, quality feedback, and payment data to determine vendor relationships that provide the greatest value for Korn Ferry and its clients.
- Assist teams with the multi-stage process required to onboard new vendors. Help resolve inquiries on timely recognition of completed work and processing of vendor invoices.
- Recommend opportunities to improve vendor processes, including exploring touchpoints across departments and lines of business.
- Review and provide feedback on current vendor onboarding and assignment documentation.
- Assist with auditing vendor purchase orders.
- Support development of best practices in vendor management through research, benchmarking, surveys, or identification and review of published best practices.
- Provide internal support to advance progress on other operational activities.
- Contribute to analysis of Korn Ferry operational processes through review and summary of report data. May include use of Microsoft Power BI or other tools.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
- Track record of successfully managing strong academics with extracurricular activities
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint with the ability to learn new systems
- Ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Enjoys problem solving
- Works collaboratively with diverse teams
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to perform with a sense of urgency

EDUCATION
- Pursuing an Undergraduate or Master’s degree with an anticipated graduation date of Spring 2026
- Must have a minimum 3.2 GPA
