Job Description

This role will be based in Chicago, New York, San Francisco, or Sunnyvale.

At LinkedIn, we trust each other to do our best work where it works best for us and our teams. This role offers a hybrid work option, meaning you can both work from home and commute to a LinkedIn office, depending on what’s best for you and when it is important for your team to be together.

Interested in driving impact at scale by transforming key business processes and building a data-driven business? The xTech Acceleration team manages the systems and tools portfolio for LinkedIn’s SaaS GTM division. Spanning across systems design, business analysis, product management, process optimization, and business strategy, you will gain a broad spectrum of experience by applying your skills to enable Go-To-Market’s technology strategy and push the Sales Operations efficiency frontier.

In the role of Director, xTech Acceleration, you will be responsible for equipping the entirety of Go-To-Market with the technology and tooling necessary to drive value.  As a senior member of the Connected GTM org, you’ll partner directly with senior executives, across LinkedIn’s Global Business Organization.  You will directly manage a medium-sized organization of process / program owners and technology teams and  drive the team vision to transform LinkedIn’s technology roadmap for Sales.

The Director of xTech Acceleration Tools will drive the operational rhythm and cadence with engineering partners as well as business executives (e.g., roadmap review).  Candidates will apply skills across all facets of the SDLC and utilize “instincts” to flag risks before they become blockers.

This opportunity welcomes candidates that are excited to serve as the singular voice of the user and represent LinkedIn’s Global Business Organization’s technology and product needs.  Candidates will lead their team through synthesizing business needs and socializing them with  technically diverse and executive audiences, while balancing near and long-term requirements, resulting in the delivery of a tractable multiyear technical roadmap.  Candidates will also have the opportunity to apply deep business knowledge (ideally in Sales and GTM processes) and product mindset to solve some of LinkedIn’s most challenging business problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a staff of Program and Business Process Managers

  • Own and maintain GBO product product vision and roadmap along with engineering prioritization, release sequencing, and communications

  • Create and execute project plans (risk management, dependency analysis) for large transformational projects (e.g., CRM Migrations)

  • Drive process standardization and refinement initiatives across GBO

  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment

  • Lead teams through the creation of technical roadmaps, while balancing trade-offs and long term business objectives

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all GBO’s technical vision and roadmap

  • Create standards, frameworks, and methodologies to accelerate technology delivery

  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering) to ensure timely and successful roadmap delivery

  • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends (e.g., Automation, AI, ML, GenAI) and solution / architectural patterns
