The Oregon Department of Veterans’ Affairs has (1) full-time opportunity available for an Accountant 3 (Program Accountant) located at ODVA Headquarters in Salem, Oregon.  

This position is a permanent, union-represented position with the Financial Services Department.

What you will do! 

As Accountant 3, you will be responsible for bond compliance and oversight. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitor loan activity to ensure proper assignment to the appropriate bond series
  • Establish and maintain accounting codes when new bonds are issued
  • Update the Electronic Municipal Market Access (EMMA) system with required information
  • Provide stockpiled and pipeline loan data
  • Prepare arbitrage reports as needed
  • Update financial statement note disclosures at year-end with relevant bond information
  • Compile and report data
