About the job

As an HCM SAP Software Specialist, you will create and deliver software conceptual functional design for applications, either through customizations or new developments according to RHI Magnesita’s requirements. You will directly report to the Head of Human Resources Software Configuration and work in the Human Resources IT Product team. You will support our HR business applications, by resolving issues, fixing bugs and providing root cause analysis. You will be responsible for understanding the process requirements defined by Global Process Experts (GPEs) and supporting them in implementing improved projects on software change definition. You will cooperate with global teams to implement projects, handle requests, and resolve issues related to Attract_to_grow (AtG) processes.

 

In addition, your tasks will include

• Working very closely with our Global Process Experts (GPEs) and Key Users in case of high incidents, by accelerating the workaround recommendation and issue resolution
• Providing software solution architecture alignment and conceptual model for application interfaces
• Leading and actively partaking in task forces to mitigate complex issues, eliminate root causes of the problems and achieve system stabilization
• Performing second-level support and third-level maintenance activities, facilitating the problem analysis
• Conducting and/or participating in workshops, training, and knowledge transfer sessions to increase awareness of the processes implemented and provide user support.

What do we expect from you in terms of

 

Education, knowledge & skills

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or similar
• Extensive knowledge of the SAP HCM system and experience in Payroll and/or Time Management solutions and their integrations with SAP ERP
• Knowledge of ABAP programming is highly beneficial
• Knowledge of SAP Success Factors and/or SAP Concur

 

Languages

• English – Proficient/Fluent

 

Work experience

• Several years of experience in SAP HCM environment for international companies
• Experience in software development
• Experience in providing support for key and final users, using market standard solutions like IT Service Management solutions such as Solman or ServiceNow
