Summary:

The Department of Medicine at Roswell Park is seeking a Division Chief of Breast Medical Oncology at the Professor level.

Candidates must have a recognized expertise in the clinical care of breast cancer patients. All candidates must be board certified in Internal Medicine and board certified in Medical Oncology, be able to meet medical licensure requirements in New York State, and must have the willingness to work within a multi-disciplinary team. Preferred candidates will have strong leadership skills and demonstrated ability to build an outstanding breast medicine team. In addition to leading the breast medical oncology team, candidates will have a leadership role in the Breast Ambulatory Clinic.

In addition, candidates should have a strong track record in clinical and/or translational research in breast cancers, exhibit the potential to support existing clinical/translational research, and provide leadership in the expansion of the breast research program. The current translational program is multidisciplinary and involves research from several departments and core services. Research programs for eligible candidates will receive support from the Institute.

Salary range is $475,224 - $715,714 which includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience

License or Certification Requirement
1. License or permit to practice as a Medical Doctor in the State of New York.
2. Possession of or eligibility for a valid medical specialty certificate in Medical Oncology

Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
