Full Stack Engineer, Elixir Skillset - Vice President

<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>iCapital is looking for a <strong>Full-Stack Engineer</strong> to join the <strong>iCapital Identity Platform</strong> team. This role will help define and deliver new features for one or more of iCapital's software platforms. You will work closely with Product Management and Design throughout the software development lifecycle—scoping requirements, reviewing work in progress, and addressing issues uncovered during automated and manual testing.</p> <p>The iCapital Identity frontend uses <strong>TypeScript</strong>, <strong>React</strong>, <strong>GraphQL</strong>, and <strong>Relay</strong>. The backend is built in <strong>Elixir/Phoenix</strong>, with some <strong>Go</strong>and <strong>Node.js</strong>, backed by <strong>PostgreSQL</strong>. Our infrastructure runs on <strong>AWS</strong> and is provisioned using <strong>Terraform</strong>.<br><br><br></p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Leverage an <strong>Elixir + Phoenix</strong>backend running on Amazon’s latest serverless technologies to power a <strong>TypeScript + React </strong>frontend</li> <li>Support existing products and features while helping design and build new ones</li> <li>Design and develop integrations with other iCapital platforms</li> <li>Collaborate regularly with stakeholders and partners to gather requirements, seek feedback, and provide updates</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>10–15+ years of experience in a related field</li> <li>Strong understanding of modern browser technologies and web fundamentals (HTTP, cookies, CSP, CORS, etc.)</li> <li>Extensive experience developing full-stack web applications</li> <li>Experience in collaborative environments where engineers define project vision, influence technical strategy, and continuously learn</li> <li>Strong relational database fundamentals</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Demonstrated proficiency and professional success coding in at least one programming language</li> <li>Experience with Linux and strong command-line skills</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Preferred/Additional Experience</strong> </p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Writing production-ready code in <strong>Elixir</strong>, <strong>TypeScript</strong>, <strong>JavaScript</strong>, <strong>Go</strong>, or <strong
