Your Job

What this role looks like.

• Developing and implementing concepts and long-term IT strategies, considering current market conditions and competitor analyses
• Acting as strategic sparring partner for C-level executives regarding topics in the areas of technology, governance steering and strategy definition  
• Supporting the CEO in strategic decisions by providing analyses, recommendations and presentations
• Confidently communicating with and presenting strategic concepts to the C-suite level
• Recruiting, mentoring, further developing and managing the team with a focus on strategic planning and business value creation 

Your Profile

What you bring with you.

• Academic degree or comparable qualification as well as several years of professional experience in a comparable position, including the leadership of interdisciplinary teams (five or more members), ideally at the executive board or top management level
• Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to communicate effectively and skilfully with C-level stakeholders
• Strategic vision, entrepreneurial skills and a dash of creativity as well as analytical thinking and a solution-oriented work approach
• Convincing demeanour to establish networks and build trusted relationships both internally and externally
• Discretion, diplomacy skills and a high level of trustworthiness
• Resilience and the ability to cope with stress, as well as a high level of professionalism and a proactive work approach

 

Desirable extras.

• Experience in IT strategy consulting or management consulting 
• Doctorate, MBA or Executive MBA
